Most of us were taught to go to the Bible to learn the stories in it, and then to work out, somehow, how those stories apply to our lives. illume turns that around. We start with your story, with the season you are actually in, and show you the people in the Bible who have already walked it. The path is easier with a guide.
What we are not
illume is not a Bible study, a church, a counseling service, or a self-help app. It will not replace your pastor, your doctor, or your friends. It is a discipleship tool: a way to make sense of where you are and where God can take you, one week at a time.
Who it is for
Seekers and believers. If you have never opened a Bible, the guides and reflections give you the context you need. If you have read it for years, you may meet people you know in a new way, because this time you are standing where they stood.
Who is behind it
illume is a nonprofit project started in 2024 by a small team in Frisco, Texas. It is free and will stay free. No ads, no premium tier, and we never sell your details.
