What we collect

On this website we collect only what you send through the contact form (your name, email, and message). When you create an account in the illume app we ask for your first name, last name, email, phone number, state and city, and a password, and we store your test answers and results, the path and guide you choose, the steps you complete, your journal entries, your weekly check-ins, and whether our emails were opened or clicked.

How we use it

We use your details to run your account, send your weekly path by email, suggest places near your city, reply to your messages, and improve illume. Journal entries are private to you. We do not sell your information and we do not share it with anyone outside the people who run illume, except the service providers that deliver email and host the site.

Email and text messages

You can turn weekly emails off on your profile or with the link at the bottom of any email. Text reminders are off unless you turn them on.

Local suggestions

To suggest a park, church, library or place to serve, we look up your city (not your street address) using mapping data from OpenStreetMap contributors.

Cookies

This website uses only the cookies WordPress needs to function. The illume app uses a session cookie to keep you logged in.

Your choices

You can update or delete your details on your profile in the app. To delete your account entirely, send us a note through the contact page and we will remove it.
